Project Details
This grand historic home was carefully restored to honor its original architectural character while introducing a fresh, livable elegance throughout. The main living space showcases beautiful coffered ceilings, a herringbone-tile fireplace surround with a walnut mantel, and built-in glass-front cabinetry flanking every window — all furnished with a layered mix of classic and contemporary seating in blues, creams, and rich leathers. The adjacent study is a standout, wrapped in deep hunter green walls with crisp white wainscoting and crown molding that highlight the home’s historic bones. A brass gallery light illuminates a vibrant abstract painting above a custom built-in bookcase, while a cognac leather desk chair and walnut desk create a refined workspace full of character. Curated collections of crystal, vintage objects, and leather-bound books fill the glass-front display cabinets, giving each room the feeling of a space that has been lovingly assembled over time rather than decorated all at once.
